Terms of Service
Last updated: October 9, 2026
Costumes for macOS is made and sold by Great Work LLC ("we"). By buying or using Costumes you agree to these terms.
Purchase and license
Costumes is a one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no license key: paying gets you the download, and the app works fully as soon as it's installed. You get a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Costumes on any Macs you personally own or control. You may not resell or share the download.
Refunds
If Costumes isn't for you, email hello@greatwork.company within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. No questions asked.
Updates
Updates are free and arrive through the app's Check for Updates feature. We may stop making updates at any time; your license to use the last version you installed doesn't expire.
Restrictions
You may not:
- Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the software
- Reverse engineer or decompile the software, except where the law allows it
- Remove or alter any copyright notices
- Use the software for any illegal purpose
What Costumes changes
Costumes changes your Mac's settings (appearance, wallpaper, Dock, sound and similar) when you tell it to or when a cue you set up fires. You can change any of those settings back in System Settings at any time.
Disclaimer of warranties
Costumes is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We don't guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that a future macOS release won't change a setting Costumes relies on.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Great Work LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of Costumes. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Continued use of Costumes after a change means you accept the new terms.
